![]() CABAIGUAN:
![]() Diolexis, one of our waiters at the MCG, invited us to his family's farm in Cabaiguan. It was a 4 hour drive in the rental car. We first stopped off at his parent house in the village and then took a short drive to the farm. Once we arrived we went horseback riding around the farm and then were treated to a real Cuban meal (it was fantastic....see the picture below of Michel & Diolexis at the table). All of his family came out to meet us.....everyone....his great grandmother, his grandmother and grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins, mother, and father (which are all in the group shot below). On their farm they grow papaya (see photo) and banana trees, coffee, sugar cane, tobacco and raise cattle, horses, and chickens to name a few.

![]() On the day we arrived the first waiter we met was Noelvis. As it turns out he is one of the managers of the buffet. Noelvis would great us everyday and show us to our seat. We enjoyed talking with him and hearing his stories. He invited us to have supper at his house in Ciego de Avila. We met with his family and his dog (Tommy the dashund). He was so generous to us and serve up a vantastic meal. Unfortuanately I did not take any pictures while I was there, however I wish I had.
